Venue Quick Start

Set up your first check-in campaign — configure rewards, fund your venue account, and print your QR.

Overview

This guide walks a venue operator through launching their first check-in campaign: configuring how customers check in, setting rewards, funding the campaign, and getting a QR code customers can scan.

For the partner economics behind campaigns, see the Venue Partner Guide and Fees & Staking.

Before you start

  • A Belong CheckIn account (sign in with email, Google, or a Belong account)
  • A venue or hub to run the campaign for
  • USDC to fund customer rewards (you can add this later)

1. Choose a check-in mode

In Hub details → CheckIn → General, set how customers will check in:

ModeUse it for
FreeMeetups and free community visits
Venue paymentCafés, bars, restaurants, paid experiences
NFT ticketTicketed events and gated entry
NFT membershipClubs and member-only spaces

See Check-In Modes for full details. You can combine a payment or free mode with a membership option.

2. Configure payment and rewards

In Venue settings, configure:

  • Payment network — BNB Chain Mainnet
  • Accepted tokens — USDC, LONG, or both
  • LONG handling — auto-stake, auto-convert to USDC, or direct transfer
  • Visitor rewards — a fixed visit bounty and/or a percentage of spend
  • Promoter rewards — a fixed referral bounty and/or a percentage of spend
  • Daily check-in limits and approval requirements
  • Verification — location-based and/or QR-based

Each venue has a payment account (shown as a venue wallet). From there you can add reward balance, view the network, copy the address, and see whether the venue is active.

3. Fund your campaign

Deposit USDC into the venue account to fund customer and promoter rewards. Deposit fees apply (with discounts for staking LONG) — see Fees & Staking. Your first two deposits waive the platform fee.

4. Get your QR code

From the General → Check-in QR Code card, print, download, copy, or share your QR. Place it where customers will scan it — a table, the bar, the register, or a receipt.

For staff-confirmed amounts, switch the QR from Check-in to Pay request and add a label like Table 12 — see Payments.

For ready-to-use signage copy by venue type, see Venue QR Signage Examples.

5. Go live

Once funded and configured, customers can scan and check in. Review pending approvals, recent requests, and reward activity from your venue's CheckIn area.
