Belong CheckIn App Features
Overview
Belong CheckIn brings venues, events, communities, wallets, rewards, and AI-assisted creation into one public app experience. The app is wallet-optional for visitors and supports more advanced wallet, ticketing, and venue-payment flows when a user chooses to connect or create a wallet.
Use this page as a product-level map of the shipped app surfaces. For low-level API and MCP tool details, see Belong CheckIn Crypto Guide, CheckIn MCP Tools, and Sponsored Gas Ledger Guide.
CheckIn Modes
Belong CheckIn supports one primary access mode per venue or hub:
| Mode | Visitor experience | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Free check-in | Visitor scans the venue QR and confirms attendance without payment. | Meetups, free community visits, simple attendance tracking. |
| Venue payment | Visitor pays through the wallet flow and can receive configured rewards after payment. | Restaurants, bars, cafes, venues, and paid local experiences. |
| NFT ticket | Visitor must hold or buy the event ticket NFT before check-in. | Conferences, concerts, ticketed events, and gated entry. |
| NFT membership | Visitor must hold a membership NFT before check-in. | Clubs, communities, recurring programs, and member-only spaces. |
Venue payment supports three amount flows:
- Customer-entered amount.
- Owner-set quote sent after the visitor requests a payment.
- Fixed amount configured by the venue.
Static payment-request QR codes are available for owner-set quote flows. A venue can place a QR at a table, bar, register, or receipt; the visitor scans it, staff enters the amount, and the visitor completes payment from the app.
Venue Setup
Venue operators can configure:
- Payment network: BNB Chain Mainnet or BSC Testnet.
- Accepted payment tokens: USDC, LONG, or both.
- LONG handling: auto-stake, auto-convert to USDC, or direct transfer.
- Visitor rewards: fixed visit bounty and/or spend percentage.
- Promoter rewards: fixed referral bounty and/or spend percentage.
- Daily check-in limits.
- Venue approval requirements.
- Location or QR-based verification settings.
Each venue has a payment account, also shown in the UI as a venue wallet. Operators can add reward balance, view the payment network, copy the address, and see whether the venue is active.
Rewards And History
Visitors can review their CheckIn history from the wallet and CheckIn areas. Venue operators can review pending approvals, recent requests, and reward activity tied to their venues.
Rewards can be attributed to:
- Visitors who check in directly.
- Promoters who bring visitors through referral links or QR flows.
- Shared reward splits when both visitor and promoter rewards are configured.
Wallet And Sign-In
The app supports guest access, email sign-in, Belong account linking, and wallet-backed flows. Users can manage wallet balances, transactions, tickets, rewards, vesting, and venue payment accounts from the wallet area.
Passkeys can be linked to a signed-in account for faster future sign-in with Face ID, Touch ID, or device biometrics. Linked passkeys can be viewed and deleted from Profile Integrations.
Wallet screens also show native gas token balances for EVM networks. When a sponsored flow cannot continue because gas coverage needs attention, the app can guide the user back to the wallet funding or recovery surface.
Sponsored Gas
Sponsored gas helps eligible users complete supported on-chain actions without holding the native gas token for the selected EVM network. Belong sponsors only network gas; the user still pays any ticket, NFT, venue payment, or other purchase amount.
Public sponsored flows include:
- NFT mint gas sponsorship when collection sponsorship is enabled and the operation passes eligibility checks.
- CheckIn card and wallet flows where an ERC-20 approval or payment path is eligible.
- Venue or collection gasless toggles that control whether sponsorship checks are available.
The sponsorship ledger tracks balances, deposits, reservations, and usage. The frontend cannot choose the sponsor wallet or spend coverage directly; the backend validates eligibility and sponsorship approval before gas is sponsored.
Bracelet Stored Value
Venues can enable NFC bracelet payments for compatible experiences. Visitors can link a bracelet, top up balance, use it for supported venue or membership flows, and review balance activity.
Operators can configure:
- Display currency.
- Accepted top-up tokens.
- Minimum and maximum top-up amounts.
- Refund availability.
- Charge categories.
- Pool wallet for bracelet top-ups.
Events, Tickets, And Maps
Belong supports event creation, ticketed events, event-week pages, and public event maps. Event-week maps can be shared publicly and prioritize active location context when available.
NFT ticket mode connects hub access with paid event tickets and ticket tiers. If no ticket event is attached, the app can guide the organizer into chat-assisted paid event setup.
AI And Voice Creation
The chat assistant can help create and edit events, hubs, CheckIn campaigns, NFT tickets, and related flows from natural language. Voice mode supports audio input, transcription, and event creation assistance.
When a workflow needs wallet signing, the app shows an inline signing or transaction surface instead of asking users to copy contract details manually.
Telegram Mini App
Belong's public Telegram integration lets users open the app from Telegram, link a Belong account, manage event workspaces, and use Mini App flows for app-level editing and signing.
Supported public Telegram experiences include:
- Private bot commands for account state, event discovery, hub discovery, event creation, and workspace switching.
- Linked hub groups for hub events and check-in guidance.
- Event-week group commands for event-week status and map links.
Public What's New
The app includes a public What's New page at /changelog. It reads approved, published entries from the public changelog view and groups updates by date.
Entries are categorized as:
- New Feature.
- Improvement.
- Bug Fix.
- Update.
