Apple Wallet Passes
Add purchased event tickets to Apple Wallet for fast, offline-friendly check-in.
Overview
After buying a ticket in Belong CheckIn, attendees on iOS can add it to Apple Wallet. The pass carries the same check-in QR code used in the app, so it works quickly at the door — even offline.
Where to find it
An Add to Apple Wallet button appears wherever you can see a purchased ticket:
- The event modal, under Your tickets
- The Wallet → Tickets tab
How it works
- Tap Add to Apple Wallet on a purchased ticket
- The app securely generates a
.pkpassfor that ticket and opens the native Apple Wallet dialog - The pass holds your ticket details and the canonical check-in QR (the same one used in the app)
- At the event, present the pass — staff scan the QR to verify your ticket NFT and check you in
If a pass can't be generated (for example on non-iOS devices), the app falls back to copying your ticket link so you can still access it.
Requirements
- An iOS device with Apple Wallet
- A purchased ticket tied to your account
Your ticket always remains accessible in the app even if a Wallet pass isn't available — the pass is a convenience, not a requirement for entry.
